One other item, and perhaps the most crucial, is wicks. Most often braided cotton is used in their manufacture, though other options are available.
Many people will elect to include their own fragrances and colors with their own candles. As fire and explosion in a worst case scenario is definitely possible, it is crucial you determine that these are appropriate for using in candle making.
